Our Coaching Team....makes the difference

Koby Storm Roberts

Let’s meet Koby!  Koby is an experienced coach who has worked with many athletes in a CrossFit box or through his personal training business over the last 9 years.  After being a dedicated hockey player in his youth, Koby discovered CrossFit and found it a fun way to exercise once out of competitive sport!  If you’ve met Koby, you would notice his enthusiastic and welcoming personality so it is not surprising his favourite part of CrossFit is bringing people from all walks of life together in one shared space.  In his free time Koby loves to run, swim and bike- it’s even common for him to bike all the way from Bronte when the weather is nice!  Koby is an avid runner and his favourite movement in CrossFit is running and enjoying the outdoors.  Koby is a very valued member of the coaching staff, coaching the noon, 5:00pm and 6:00pm classes during the week!

Proudest Moment:  His proudest moment is helping members improve their quality of life through fitness under his instruction.

Favourite CrossFit Move/Goals:  Koby has no current goals in CrossFit, but his success in the Open this year is a feat in itself!

Andrea Robertson

If you know Andrea, you know of her passion for Fitness, CrossFit, Teaching and her kids.  Andrea found CrossFit 12 years ago after ending her Rugby career, and discovered CrossFit fulfilled the competitiveness and drive she was looking for.  Andrea’s favourite thing about the community is that she gets to workout with loved ones and friends which makes the hard days feel easier.  Andrea loves a WOD with a barbell, and is always pushing herself to learn and work on new skills.  Outside of the gym, Andrea is most likely to be found at school teaching or spending time with her Boyfriend, Jason, and two children (who she is insanely proud of)!  Andrea is a frequent 6am workouter and coaches the Sunday classes, including the family class with member and their kids!

Paige McMillan

Paige started CrossFit in 2021 after falling in love with fitness and movement again after quitting competitive dance and having a fitness ‘lull’.  She instantly liked the community aspect of CrossFit and the way the members encourage each other to try new things, push their limits and try their best.  While finishing her teaching education, Paige gained her CFL1 and now coaches Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings.  When not at the gym (she is always at the gym), Paige is teaching middle school down the street.  Paige has participated in a few local CrossFit competitions and is excited for the upcoming ones!  CrossFit has been incredibly important to Paige’s physical and mental health, and now she cannot imagine her life without the gym and the community.

Proudest Moment:  Pending…

Favourite CrossFit Move/Goals:  This year Paige is working on getting a muscle up and improving technique on Olympic lifts.

Victoria Duz

Victoria is an amazing coach with almost 10 years of coaching experience, who is found at CFPC on Thursday and Friday mornings in addition to her day job as Director of Operations at BeauteSchool.  Victoria found her love for CrossFit by going to watch her friend in a local competition and being in awe of their athletic abilities.  She signed up for a free trial at a local gym the next day and the rest has been history and the best decision she ever made!  Victoria loves the CFPC community because of the welcoming community of like-minded individuals striving to improve their overall health and fitness.  When not at the gym, Victoria is most likely to be hanging out with loved ones (furry friends included), eating homemade pasta, and enjoying the outdoors by golfing, fishing, and horse riding.

Proudest Moment:  Victoria is very proud of her consistency in CrossFit to improve her mental and physical health, to the point that exercise is now the best hour of her day!

Favourite CrossFit Move/Goals:  Victoria’s favourite CrossFit move is the Split Jerk where she is working towards 200lb!!!
